Grieve Different

This powerful short film follows a young Black man grappling with deep trauma and trust issues as he navigates the complex journey of grief. Shot with emotional authenticity and visual sensitivity, the story explores how healing takes shape in unexpected ways. As the Director of Photography, I helped craft a visual language that mirrors his inner turmoil—dark shadows, shifting light, intimate close-ups—so the audience can feel the weight he carries and the breakthrough he finds.
We’re proud to share that the film won best overall for the Fresh Black Films Festival
